Abstract
The challenge of Indonesia in this era of openness is the readiness of the young generation, especially students can maintain the existence of the nation and homeland of Indonesia, the middle of the change and inclusion of the outside.The concept of love for Homeland became one of the efforts to ward off negative effects in the era of openness. The aim of this research analyzes the factors that support the internalization of homeland love in students. The study used a literature search approach to find an internalization of the concept of homeland love among students. The effort to realize homeland love through daily activities and activities, in the form of preserving and preserving cultural products, appreciating local wisdom and being able to promote culture as identity nations, able to develop cultural works by enhancing the value added and quality, demonstrated in the slogan and speech, and embodied in the mindset, willingness and action, behave productively avoid consumptive, know more closely the local culture through education such as language learning , history and culture and thicken the love of homeland through tourism.
