Abstract
This term paper discusses about Annotated Translation. Annotated Translation is a translation with a notes from the translator. On this research, I use Theories of Translation, Translation Methods and Translation Procedures and techniques. This study focuses on cultural equivalent. The purpose of this study is to increase the knowledge of writers and readers about annotated translation, and to help readers to easily understand the meaning of the text uses V diagram theory. The results of this study is to create a good and correct translation of the novel A Line Made By Walking. A Line Made By Walking is a novel about an introvert who moves from town to bungalow belongs to his deceased grandmother. This novel was written by British novelist Sara Baume. A Line Made By Walking by Sara Baume is the main source of this research and Translation Theories, Translation Methods, Procedures, and Translation Techniques that are related are secondary sources.
