Abstract

Clean water is essential for drinking, but is the water we drink clean Our task is to understand the water quality we consume, particularly when pumped from the ground and stored in water tanks. It is crucial to ensure that the cleanliness of the storage tanks is safe from viruses and bacteria. This study examines the performance of a 500-liter water tank cleaning machine to prevent contamination. The performance testing of this cleaning machine uses a ¼ HP drive motor with a shaft power requirement of 623.7 watts and a shaft speed of 1000 Rpm. The required friction or torque for the cleaning shaft is 4.2 Nm at 1000 Rpm. The cleaning process for the tank takes 20 minutes at a shaft speed of 1000 Rpm.
