Abstract
This experimental study on gasification here include reactor, cyclone, scrubber ang blower. Test performance of the gasification used several biomass wastes has been used durng the WW II.for transportation purposes.Since the energy crisis this technology has attract attention agai due to this technology only emit small CO2 and used renewable wastes such as saw dust, ,rice husk, empty fruit bunch of palm oil, coconut shell and twigs of woods available in the campus, and sugar cane bagasse. During the test performance several parameter were m measured such as temperature distribution in the reactor, combustion rate of biomass.CO gas concentration, amount of tar produced and dust. During the test it was found that resulting gas from all biomass waste were capable of burning. All biomass wastes tested produced several level of CO gas concentration varied between 593.3 ppm to 812 ppm, The combustion rate varied between 5.65 kg/h and 9.9 kg/h
