Abstract

Indonesia merupakan Negara Kepulauan yang memiliki beribu-ribu pulau di seluruh wilayah dari sabang sampai merauke. Luas laut Indonesia yang mencapai 5,8 juta km, terdiri 0,3 juta km 2 perairan teritorial, 2,8 juta km perairan pedalaman dan kepulauan, 2,7 juta 2 km Zona Ekonomi Ekslusif (ZEE), dikelilingi lebih dari 17.500 pulau, dengan panjang pantai 95.181 kilometer, kesemuanya tersebut adalah potensi kekayaan yang luar biasa.
