Abstract
This thesis discusses the novel I'm the King of the Castle by Susan Hill. The writer analyzes the thesis by using intrinsic and extrinsic approaches to prove the theme assumption. In analyzing theme of the novel, the writer uses library research references. Based on the result of research, the writer can conclude that the Edmund's character is wicked. Because of his wicked, he always disturbs Charles and it caused Charles's frustration and killing himself.
