Abstract

This term paper discusses the theme in the novel Five Feet Apart. The intrinsic approach is used to analyze this research, which includes characterization, plot, and settings taken from the quotations contained in the novel. This study discusses the theme of teen’s struggle which is analyzed through characters, plots, and also settings. This research also discusses the symbols contained in the intrinsic elements and also in the theme. The results of this analysis show that the novel Five Feet Apart has a theme of teen’s struggle, this can be seen from the characters, plots, settings, and symbols in the novel Five Feet Apart. The novel Five Feet Apart is the primary source in this term paper and is supported by related theories and concepts which are secondary sources in this term-paper.
