The research object in this research is The Batman (2022) movie script by Matt Revees and Peter Craig. There are 19 data found in this research. Based on them, there are 5 impoliteness strategies classified. And the most frequently appeared strategy is the strategy of Negative Impoliteness. From this research, it can be concluded that this strategy is useful in conversations with strangers, not only to minimizes potential threats but also allows you to explain small details that may be impolite, so you know how maintains a good relationship between speaker and interlocutor. Selina uses impoliteness strategies more often than other characters. Emotions and the differences of background between the speaker and the interluctors affect the use of impoliteness strategies in their utterances.
