Abstract

This term-paper discusses about the theme of a literary work of film by applying 2(two) approaches; intrinsic and extrinsic approaches. Through the intrinsic approach, the concepts are: characterization using showing method, beside that, there are also characterizations through the action of the character such as: behavior and the motivation of the figure. For the extrinsic approaches there are American Dream and Maslow's Needs Hierarchy by Abraham Maslow. This term-paper explains about Brendan O' Conlon as a father who was struggling for achieving American Dream and getting the top of his needs, happiness. In this research, film Warrior and the script are the primary sources and supported by some of relevant theories, concepts, and definitions which as secondary sources.
