Abstract
This term paper discusses the theme of literature works by using a novel which uses the intrinstic and the extrinstic approaches. In the intrinstic appoarch, I will analyze characterization through omniscient point of view, setting, and plot. Then, in the extrinstic appoarch which it is including personality psychology approach, I appears the projection and the aggression concepts from Sigmund Freud. This study is a variety of qualitative research with a bibliography research. This characteristic of this research is interpretative analytical methods data collection in the form of the litterary text based on novel entitled, In the Still of the Night by Charlotte Lamb, as the primary resource and supported by some of literary related theory, concepts, and definitions as the secondary sources to the the relevant.
