Abstract

In the Kanji class, it is difficult to introduce Japanese culture using the text because only the writing, reading and example sentences of Kanji can be taught due to time restrictions. Therefore, I developed my own method of studying Chinese characters and was able to teach Chinese characters using the text of Japanese culture. Therefore, the learners could understand the text of Japanese culture at the same time as the Chinese characters during the Chinese character class. The first class will teach you how to read and write new Chinese characters. Then divide the classes into groups. Give each group the text of Japanese culture used in the Kanji class and have them look it up outside of class hours. Give each group time during class to present what they have researched. After the presentation, the teacher will explain the missing parts and the content of the text. In this way, learners can understand how to read and write Chinese characters in Kanji lessons, as well as the text of Japanese culture. In the previous Kanji final exam, 95% of the learners got excellent.
