Abstract

Ice slurry appears as the main alternative that really supports the performance of fishermen starting from raw materials that can be taken directly in the middle of the sea and increasing the space on the ship for storing these fish. This Ice Slurry Machine is an experimental tool for fishermen later in this study a variation of rotation on the scrapper will be made where the variations are 500 rpm, 1000 rpm, 1200 rpm on the electric motor which is then reduced by a gearbox which has a ratio of 1: 30 and evidenced by the volume of sea water in each variation set, namely 20 liters with a time of 90 minutes. The quality of the resulting cooling can be determined by the COP value where the results of these variations are then analyzed and the best COP value is 10.24 with a 1200 RPM rotation.
