Abstract

This term paper discusses about the reflection of the American Dream in A Day To Remember's Songs by using The American Dream concept and Theory of Poetry Assessment. The American Dream Concept contains of Gold, Gospel and Glory. Then, The Theory of Poetry Assessment contains of Metaphor, Symbol, Rhyme and Imagery. This study is a qualitative range of research, types of literature research that is analyzed with method of data collection in the form of the songs and biography of A Day To Remember as the primary source and supported by some literature sources related to the concept and theories.
