Abstract
A film is literary work that uses visual communication with sound and moving picture, which contains a story that is structured and intact. The research is conducted using a qualitative approach. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. The object of the research is utterance expressive speech act and the impact found in Toy Story 4 (2019) Movie Script. I have analyzed 36 data, and then classified them into eight kinds of expressive speech act, there are four expressions of apologizing, eight expressions of thanking, three expressions of congratulating, five expressions of deploring, five expressions of lamenting, eight expressions of welcoming, one expressions of forgiving, and two expressions of boasting. One of the impact of expressive speech act found is by expressing congratulation, the opposite of the character feels that what she has done feels appreciated, like one of the data when the character expressed congratulation because the character can make toys from recycled good, character feels happy for the toys she creates.
