Abstract
The current research is aimed at discovering the improvement of Japanese Reading Comprehension using Think-Pair-Share Technic. Teaching and LearningModel to students of Japanese Language of Semester III, Darma PersadaUniversity, Jakarta. The research method used action research. The sample of this research wasstudents of Japanese Language of Semester III, Darma Persada University, Jakarta. The research result indicated that the students’ ability in comprehending Japanese Reading could be promoted using Think-Pair-Share Technique. This improvement could be concretely seen in the difference in pre- and post-test results. The pre-test result showed that the average score was 48, Siklus 1 was 58.3 and Siklus 2 was 67.3 Based on the research result, it could be concluded that Think-Pair-Share Technic could improve the students’ Japanese reading comprehension rate since there was a significant improvement from the preliminary to final conditions.
