Abstract
The title of this research is "The Analysis of External Conflict of Main Characters in The Movie Script Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom by Derek Connolly". The problem and purpose of this research is to analyze external conflict and its resolution based on the plot. Plot is used to find the main character's conflict, and also to describe how the conflict is resolved. This research is qualitative research and uses content analysis approach. The data source in this study is movie script Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. In the case of the main character, there are three characters who are considered as the main character because they dominate the whole story. They are Claire Dearing, Owen Graddy, and Maisie Lockwood. In this study the author uses conflict resolution from Thomas Killman's theory. The data in this study are in the form of sentences and conversations that support the research focus. The results of this study indicate that there are two types of conflict, namely humans versus humans and humans versus nature. They resolve conflict by being accommodating, collaborating, compromising, and avoiding.
