Abstract
This study aims to analyze move script using pragmatic approaches. The researcher analyze the types of illocutionary acts and perlocutionary acts which were presented by all the characters in "Black Panther" movie through the script. In this research, there are five types of illocutionary speech acts in movie script, they are representatives, directives, expressives, commissives, and declaratives. The research uses descriptive qualitative method to describe and analyze the illocutionary acts and perlocutionary acts because taken from the script. The research analyze the data one by one according to the Searle’s concept of types of illocutionary acts to know the classification of illocutionary acts and perlocutionary acts. The result in this research have found 46 data that are included in the types of illocutionary act. First, 8 data are in representatives. 18 data are in directives, 11 data are in commissives, 7 data are in expressives, and the last is 2 data in declaratives. Based on the analysis, illocutionary acts appear to be used by all the “Black Panther” characters in movie script.
