Abstract

This book covers the practice of teaching listening within the classroom environment for Darma Persada University students in semester 2. It covers the basics of teaching listening, dispensing with complicated EFL teaching methodology and terminology thereby laying the foundations on which to build upon and develop. Teaching Listening Made Easy provides the teacher with a basic framework and approach to teaching the skill of listening, leaving the teacher to generate his or her own ideas and explore a plethora of possibilities. This book includes practical, usable classroom techniques and activities. The activities have been carefully chosen and aimed at universal application. These activities are also flexible and should be adapted by the teacher according to the level and cultural backgrounds of the learners
