Abstract

This study focuses on analysing the types of grammatical mistakes found in movie script of Bad Boys for Life (2020). The main data were obtained from the script of the movie and were analysed based on the conceptual framework of grammatical mistake theory. This research is using Descriptive Qualitative Method to analyze the grammatical mistakes of some sentences from Bad Boys for Life movie script. The data (primary) of this research is all sentences in Bad Boys for Life movie script. The result of this research is as follows. first, the mistakes in the sentences or utterances uttered by Mike. Second mistakes in the sentences or utterances uttered by Marcus. Third mistakes in the sentences or utterances uttered by other characters. And the grammatical mistakes mostly found in the movie’s script of Bad Boys for Life. After that, I analysed along with the explanation of the mistakes. The result of the total of error-analysis shows that there are 69 errors. Which 32 mistakes shown in Mike’s utterances, 26 mistakes shown in Marcus utterances and 11 mistakes shown in other characters utterances.
