Abstract
Literature is one of many ways to express our feelings, emotions, and experiences. Figurative language is language that used to convey something different from real definition of the word. In literary work like movie, figurative language is used to make the words or phrases are more beautiful, more interesting, and make the image more clear. Figurative language in movie can make the viewer easy to understand that in the movie using text/subtitles can describe and convey messages from each of actors or actress of movie. This research is expected to be useful for students who want to know the figurative language in the movie to get and understand the true meaning. The Theory of Figurative Language uses the theory of Gorys Keraf (2009) to support the analysis.
