Abstract

Literature is a form of expression that has no bounds. Literature allows us to experience a wide range of art, from the tangible to the intangible, such as imagination. Literature allows us to understand things via our emotions and thoughts. As a result, literary psychology is now considered part of the field of literature. Literary psychologists are expected to be able to categorize and classify other people's behavior and mental health. The purpose of this research is to examine the concepts of rationalization and aggression in the Fractured movie script. This research describes how the characters, plot, and setting are produced in this movie script based on intrinsic aspects. Because the outcomes of the analysis will be conveyed in the form of words, phrases, and language, this research employs descriptive qualitative methods. How rationalization behaviors arise that can encourage aggressive behavior has been discussed in this research. The concepts of rationalization and aggression are connected with human emotions in this research, particularly as a defense of the human ego. Some elements are triggered by trauma or the individual's own state. The conclusion that can be related to this research is how we should deal with our trauma so that it does not impact us and cause future disorder.
