Abstract

This study aims to analyze movie script using intrinsic and extrinsic approaches. Through intrinsic, the theories of liberal feminism and gender equality are used to analyze the data. The concept of gender role is used to analyse the data in extrinsic approach. The approach of the research that used in this research is qualitative approach. This research is coducted by using descriptive qualitative method because the result of the data analysed is in descriptive phenomenon such as words, sentence, and language. The object of this research is “Moxie” movie by Amy Poehler. The data of this research are collected from movie script by Dylan Meyer and Tamara Chestna. The results obtained in this study are knowing the signs of gender equality in school. In addition, to break the gender equality, she must know how it started first.
