Abstract
The objective of this study is to analyze the movie script of “Transformers One” written by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari using the theory of class struggle, popularized by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels to analyze the depiction of class struggle and how it impacted the two main characters, Orion Pax and D-16. This film follows their journey as the hardships they went through transform them into the main player of the Transformers mythos, Optimus Prime and Megatron. This study used qualitative and narrative analysis to examine Orion Pax and D-16 through an intrinsic approach, characterization, plot, and setting, aligning with the extrinsic approach of class struggle theory. The data collective techniques used through the note-taking methods. Thus, the result showed how the class struggle affects them in pursuit of improving their class.
