Abstract
This term paper discusses about the topics of child psychology and Child Exploitation represented in the novel using intrinsic approaches with applied concepts such as: characterization, plot, and setting. This term paper also uses extrinsic approach such as: Child Exploitation and Child Psychology, both stem from sociology and psychology of literature. This term paper is composed from variety of qualitative research, library research, comparison, and interpretative analysis using the method of data collection in the form of literary texts from the novel The Institute by Stephen King as primary source and supported by some literatures to relate the theory and some journals regarding the extrinsic approaches to understand the concept and relevant definition as secondary source.
