Abstract

This term paper discusses about Reflection of Racism Experienced By Khalil Harris as Black Person in The Hate U Give Movie Script By Audrey Wells. This study is qualitative method by using Neubeck’s theory about the form of racism The purpose of this study is to examine what form of racism reflected in The Hate U Give movie script. This term paper focuses on analyze the institutional racism that experienced by Khalil Harris that happen in the movie script. The results of this study found that there was an act of institutional racism that experienced by Khalil Harris in the movie script The Hate U Give. The movie script is not only about the murdered of Khalil Harris, but also there is an act of institutional racism by The Police.
