Abstract

This study aims to analyze the personality structure of August Pullman or used to be called Auggie using intrinsic and extrinsic approaches. The intrinsic approach used is characterization, plot, and setting. While the extrinsic approach uses Sigmund Freud's personality structure. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The object of this research is the Wonder movie script by Stephen Chbosky. The results of this study are as follows, the elaboration between characterization and balance personality structure, the elaboration between plot and balance personality structure, and the elaboration between setting and balance personality structure. Wonder movie script can give us all an idea to appreciate someone who was born different. In this movie script, Auggie Pullman conveys the message that kindness and courage can come in many forms. Auggie Pullman also shows that strength can be used the right way.
