Abstract
This term of paper discusses the theme of a literary work as novel by using intrinsic and extrinsic approaches as the tool to analyze it. Intrinsic approaches concepts that used are: characterization, setting, and plot, and for the concept of extrinsic approach is: Anxiety Theory by Sigmund Freud. This study is a qualitative range of research, types of research literature, which analyze with the method of data collection in the form of literary media from a movie titled Enough Nicholas Kazan’s work as the primary source and is supported by some literatures related to theories, concepts and definitions that relevant as secondary sources.
