Abstract
This research analyzed a movie script entitled The Batman by Matt Reeves and Peter Craig. This research focuses on discussing the psychological aspects experienced by Bruce Wayne as the main character. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques that include library, observation, and note methods. The data used is in the form of the movie script The Batman by Matt Reeves and Peter Craig as a primary library source through an intrinsic approach in the form of characterization, setting, and plot, as well as linking it with an extrinsic approach using the concepts of childhood trauma theory. This research is also supported by collecting journals, books, and other research from the internet as a secondary data source. The result of this research is to find Bruce’s character descriptions, which are reclusive, socially awkward, resolute, inexperienced, intimidating, strict, insomniac, apathetic, virtuous, compassionate, inventive, reckless, and irritable. Next are the effects of the tragedy on his characters, which are visualized and perceived memories, changed attitudes about people, life, and the future, rage, and repetitive behaviors. Then it's reflection of the setting and plot as a whole.
