Abstract

This research discusses about a movie script Mulan (2020) by Disney which tells about Mulan, a young woman that treated differently because she is different than other girls around her age. This term paper discusses about the literary work using intrinsic approach and extrinsic approach. The intrinsic approach is used to analyze this research, which includes characterization, plot, and settings taken from the quotations contained in the movie script. The extrinsic approach is used to analyze this research, which includes the concept of feminism and the theory of gender through characterization, plot and setting. This study are varieties of qualitative research, library research, interpretative analysis using the method of data collection from the movie script Mulan (2020) by Disney as primary source and supported by some of the literatures to relate the theories, concepts and the relevant definitions as a secondary source.
