Abstract
This research discusses the spirit of liberal feminism that grows in Enola Holmes who is the daughter of a dangerous activist for the women's rights movement. This research is a type of qualitative research through descriptive analysis in which signs of feminism found in the “Enola Holmes” movie script are analyzed using the semiotic theory of Charles Sanders Peirce using the Triangle Meaning model of signs, objects, and interpretant and using Mary Wollstonecraft's feminism theory. The purpose of this study is to explain the utterances of liberal feminism that reflect in “Enola Holmes (2020)”, and to describe the meaning of utterances by the characters in “Enola Holmes (2020)”. The results of the study show that there are signs of liberal feminism reflected by Enola and Eudoria Holmes to reveal a meaning or message contained due to the demands of changing the world or naturally.
