Abstract
This term paper discusses about the theme of a movie script. Two approaches and, intrinsic and extrinsic approaches, are applied to analyze this movie script. The concept that is applied to analyze through intrinsic approach consists of characterization by using showing and telling methods, plot and setting. The concept to analyze through extrinsic approach is family conflict and an instinct for death. This research explains about the effect of family conflict and an instinct for death in character of Annie Graham, Charlie Graham, Peter Graham, and Ellen Leigh as well as it’s relation. In this research, Hereditary movie script is the primary sources and supported by sone of relevant theories, concepts, and definitions which as secondary sources.
