Abstract

In this study, the researcher analyzes a movie script by Kevin Kwan,Crazy Rich Asians. The researcher focuses on conflicts faced by three characters in Crazy Rich Asians. This study also analyzes how the conflicts can be solved in the Movie Script. This study applies a qualitative method. It uses psychological approach of Sigmund Freud, the three characters’ are solves the problems by using id which are the aspect that drives the part of the mind, that is conflict,which are appeared in the movie and experienced by the three characters. The three character's conflicts are included in external conflict of character versus society which is rejection, threats, and Character versus Character where their fellow players conflict with each other and defend their opinions and there are findings regarding internal conflicts regarding the turmoil between Nick's thoughts and Rachel about dealing with their lives.
